Captain D's Owner Reorganizes Franchise Division

(Thursday, February 15, 2007) - Sagittarius Restaurants, owner of the Captain D's restaurant brand, has added new field directors and a company analyst, essentially reorganizing its franchise division.

Three directors of franchise recruiting are: Eric Edwards for the Southwest; Michael Vogelfor the Midwest and Michael Wootton for the East.

They will report to Marc Mushkin, who will qualify and facilitate franchise partners for both Captain D's and its other chain, Del Taco. Mushkin was recently appointed vice president of franchising after serving as senior director of franchising for Del Taco for three years.

Andrew Verostek to the position of market planning analyst to support franchising and real estate.

Prior to joining Nashville-based Sagittarius, Edwards served in franchising and licensing positions with Dairy Queen, Pizza Inn and Palm Beach Tan. Vogel held franchising positions with Quiznos, International Dairy Queen and Novus Auto Glass before joining Sagittarius. Mike Wootton held a franchise sales position with Quiznos.

Captain D's, also headquartered in Nashville, has nearly 600 restaurants in 26 states, the Caribbean and military bases around the world. Del Taco has more than 480 restaurants in 13 states.
