Bennigan's Lunch Menu Lets Customers Choose between Good and Evil
5/8/2007
PLANO, Texas – The scale of good and evil has finally come to a balance. Bennigan's introduces its new "Good & Evil" lunch promotion which tempts customers to be "good" with Kilkenny's Country Chicken Salad or "evil" with the Monte Cristo, each $4.99 for a limited time.
"We're having a little fun with our lunch menu by giving guests the opportunity to indulge or go the healthy route," said Clay Dover, executive vice president and chief concept officer for Metromedia Restaurant Group. "No matter what your conscience decides it's a great deal on two Bennigan's classics."
For those who surrender to their sinful side, the Monte Cristo is a rich combination of ham, turkey, Swiss and American cheese on wheat bread, lightly battered and fried. It's then dusted with powdered sugar and served with red raspberry preserves. Guests looking for redemption can try Kilkenny's Country Chicken Salad, which tosses garden greens with diced egg, shredded Colby, tomatoes, bacon, crisp fried chicken and Smoky Honey Dijon dressing.
The lunch promotion is available daily, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., for a limited time at restaurants nationwide.
