Carvel and Fudgie the Whale® will be located at the official taxi stand at the West Side terminal from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. giving away Lil’ Flying Saucers® and coupon books in honor of Grand Central.

Grand Central Terminal is celebrating its 100th birthday with events all day this Friday, Feb. 1. Music and other live performances, an opening ceremony with VIP guests, and numerous other public activities round out the day. The celebration continues throughout 2013, with a variety of events, publications, educational initiatives and exhibitions, including additional programs from the New York Transit Museum and MTA’s Arts for Transit program, as well as an officially licensed line of MTA commemorative and collectible products that give visitors the opportunity to take home mementos of the historic celebration.
