Bojangles' and Its Customers Raise More Than $77,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hostpital

41 Triad Area Bojangles' Restaurants Participated in This Year's $1 Boot Fundraiser

December 29, 2014 // Franchising.com // Winston-Salem, N.C. - This holiday season, Bojangles' restaurants in the Triad area raised more than $77,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in a fundraising partnership with WTQR (Q 104.1 FM). During a 21-day promotion, Bojangles' customers had the opportunity to purchase $1 St. Jude "boots" at 41 restaurants throughout the Triad area in support of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Every dollar raised supports St. Jude, the largest treatment and research center in the United States for pediatric cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases. It is the first and only institution established for the sole purpose of conducting basic and clinical research into catastrophic diseases, and no child is ever denied treatment because of his or her family's inability to pay.

"We are so honored to make this donation to St. Jude on behalf of our loyal customers and Q 104.1 listeners who helped raise this generous amount this holiday season," said Bojangles' Regional Vice President of Operations, Dion Firooznia. "We sincerely appreciate Bojangles' supportive customers who have continued to give so generously to this important organization for the past eight years."

Restaurants that participated in this year's fundraiser included locations in Alamance, Davie, Davidson, Forsyth, Guilford, Montgomery, Randolph, Stokes, Surry, Wilkes and Yadkin counties.

The Bojangles' located at 915 Hwy 66 South in Kernersville, NC raised the most money with $4,375 donated at their location. Over the past eight years, Bojangles' and its customers have raised over $494,000 for St. Jude Children's Hospital.
