Salata Salad Kitchen Opens Restaurant within SouthPark Shopping Mall
November 18, 2024 // Franchising.com // CHARLOTTE, N.C.– Salata Salad Kitchen officially announced the grand opening of its newest restaurant on November 20 in Charlotte.
Located at 4425 Sharon Rd, Suite 195, the new Salata is easily accessible off Carnegie Blvd within SouthPark Mall, a prime spot in the heart of Charlotte's upscale retail and commercial district. The restaurant will be operated by Free Fenix LLC, a North Carolina-based venture company that owns multiple Salata restaurants across Charlotte.
To celebrate the grand opening, the SouthPark restaurant will donate a percentage of sales on November 20 to the Carolina Youth Coalition, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering high-achieving, under-resourced students through college. Other offerings available during the grand opening include:
- A raffle for guests to win an exclusive Salata Swag Box
- The first 100 guests will receive a complimentary Salata-branded t-shirt
- A free veggie salad giveaway when downloading the Salata Tastemaker app and favoring SouthPark’s location
- A flights and bites tasting station
- A succulent bar with over 60 plants, available while supplies last

Salata restaurants feature built-to-order salads, wraps, soups, organic teas and lemonades, along with fresh fruit, vegetables and lean proteins, which are all prepared and chopped daily in-house. With five salad bases, over 50 toppings and 11 house-made proprietary dressings, guests can create meals tailored to their lifestyle.
