Franchise History

Spring-Green Enterprises (SGE) was established in 2015 as the parent company to Spring-Green Lawn Care and a search was started for acquisition of a second brand. In 2015, SGE became a Pet Butler franchise owner with the vision to acquire the franchise system once a thorough vetting of the service and its business model was completed. The first year the business was run as it was originally designed. Entering the second year, SGE sought to accelerate growth and began to dig deeper into the marketing challenges, leveraging its existing internal systems to deliver a more predictable digital and direct marketing system. In 2016 SGE focused on improving the cost-effectiveness of each sale and brought in outside experts to become more educated on the pet industry, which reinforced its confidence in the franchise system, leading it to acquire Pet Butler in June 2017. In August 2018, SGE held its first National Training Conference as the new brand owner and in 2019 began testing new services at its company-owned Pet Butler location in the Chicago area, introducing pet sitting and dog walking services along with pet shuttle / transportation services.
